ArchiCAD Technical Support

Please: before you contact user or technical support, make sure that you have downloaded and installed any updates to ArchiCAD, including library updates. ArchiCAD 9, 10, 11 and 12 have two commands under the Help menu to look for updates: one looks for program updates, the other for library updates. The update process is manual: you must download the compressed update file, uncompress it, and install. If your version is 8.1 or earlier, you must visit the Graphisoft global support web site.

As a convenience to our clients, you can also follow these links to find the current updates:

For version 9, 10 and 11, just click on the 'Check for Updates' link under the Help menu of ArchiCAD. You should do this at least once each month. Click here for program Updates for version 8.1 and earlier only.

Also, click on the "Check for Library Updates" link in the Help menu every month or two.

Library Updates - Version 8.1 and earlier, as well as subset libraries of earlier version for use with 9 and above.

You may find it efficient to look at the archicadwiki, a searchable collection of all documents related to ArchiCAD, or to search ArchiCAD Talk (the user forum) to find out if an answer to your question is readily available.

If there is a feature that you wish was included in ArchiCAD, several "wish list" forums are on ArchiCAD talk to let other users vote on how useful the feature would be to them. Graphisoft reads these polls as part of deciding the future features of the program.

GDL Talk is a separate forum for deeper questions on GDL scripting. Basic GDL questions belong on the ArchiCAD Talk library forum.
